05/06/2009

One of the primary features of using MS Access database is fast retrieval of records saved in your database. You can also run a query (with varied conditions) to view some specific records saved in the Access database (.accdb or .mdb). However, if you are unable to view the required records after running the query, it means that your Access database has been corrupted. In such situations, the most effective way to restore your lost data is by using an up-to-date data backup. But, in case of absence of backup, you need to repair the corrupted Access database. To do so, you need to use advanced Access Database Repair tools.

As a practical scenario, you run a query to view all the records saved in the Employee table. However, you encounter the below error message instead of desired Employee table records:

“MS Access caused an error in vbe6.dll, so this will close MS Access, if there is any other problem try with restarting your pc”

The above error message makes the records saved in the Employee table inaccessible. In addition, you encounter the above error message each time you attempt to view or update any records in the Employee table.

Cause:

The Employee table is corrupted or damaged. The causes of corruption can be improper MS Office shutdown, operating system malfunctioning, concurrent execution (modification) by two or more users of the Employee table, malicious software like virus and more. To avoid any virus infection issues, you need to use quality antivirus software and update it regularly.
